Ie, any particular brands or types-ie are cigars, cigarettes, pipes worse? I know its all bad, but is there much evidence about specific brands or types being killers?
The man who set up the company that makes Marlboro cigarettes died of lung cancer, as did two actors who played the Marlboro man.

I am a smoker and the truth is that they're all as bad as each other!

I tried smoking low tar cigarettes, but when I was stressed, I just broke the filter off, cos it wasn't giving me the hit I needed at the time!

Unfortunately I still like smoking so have only half assed plans to quit...

The higher the tar or nicotine content the more damaging they are. Also said in paper yesterday that menthol cigarettes are more addictive, because of the chemical used in them, than normal ones so are a lot harder to give up.
Smoking without a filter is more damaging than one with a filter.

Obiviously, the higger the tar, the more damaging to your lungs.

Intrestingly, a report came out last week that suggested menthol cigarettes are harder to give up than regular ones, and are just as damaging.

Either way, cigarettes are just stupid tax. Don't do it man...

Yes 10 cigarettes are more damaging than one. Oh, and the ones without filters, more tar and extra nicotine tend to be as well.

I smoke around 30 a day, and i have done so for the last 20 years odd, and believe me, after having tried just about all of them, they still remain a killer, and they are , and always will be crap. I just don't seem to be able to stop, and believe me , i have tried every possible avenue. Stop if you can,,,,,or don't start

all cigarettes are bad the menthol ones are harder to come off going with the newspaper yesterday

Supposedly, menthols are more damaging because of fiberglass. Could be just a myth.
