Why is it that every year the Texas Rangers do well for a while, then management suddenly forgets that pitching matters and trades the heart or soul of the team for a couple of non-pitchers, making for a long second half. Nothing against the ones traded for, but please! I can hardly take this any more.

Is there a way to really get this message out? Someone just pat me on the back and say it will be ok. A Red Sox fan, maybe?

Awww baby. Things are going to be just fine! A pitcher will read this message and know that they are greatly appreciated! I think a pitcher matters just as much as a star batter. Strikin' 'em out before they even hit the bases would put a great dent in any game! RED SOX kick as*!!

I agree. This may sound terrible but I am always glad when I see one of the players they traded away do good. I cheered the first game Shriek (Kevin Minch) played after being traded because he did so good something like 5 RBIs

I'm with you man. Ranger fans need to contact management and voice our displeasure. Apparently, the fact that we don't go to games hasn't helped them figure out they have a problem.

They're not the oldest franchise in baseball that has never won the World Series for nothing.

you are right, it happens every year... some basball scouts believe that the heat in the summer time gets to the pitchers and they lose it later on in the year........
