Shouldn't you have done something about it like two years ago?

The deception of faking a election process has taken place since 1792 the electronic cheat machine's just muddy the waters in trying to trace proof. Public awareness is lacking & easily mislead by spin! I contacted my supervisor of elections over 2 years ago, all they wanted too do is put spin on it as if they had something to hide! Voting absentee does not verify your ballot in the results transcripted!

If a paper trail (which won't prove anything, once its removed from the polling place it is tainted and couldn't be used in a recount) was so important why haven't people been demanding one since 2000.

Raising the issue on blogs and message boards a few weeks before elections won't get things changed. If it is that burning an issue why aren't people demanding their elected officials force a change?

As everyone knows an ATM keeps a printed journal of all transactions, it is easy to add one on machines, new and retrofit. But there is not an outcry from politicians. Each county elections official in the US can specify the features they want, and there is no way they are all caught in a giant conspiracy.

The people who understand the problems with the machines, such as the Hopkins engineering professor, have been complaining about the machines for years but no one seems to want to listen. If Diebold was actually confident in the working of their mahcines then they would publicly issue guarantees such as " if there is any problem we will pay to fix it. ir challenging people to bring up their problems" but since they are obviously trying to do as little as possible they have issued only childish vague replies to all serious questions such "those allegations are not true" much like saying "I know you are but what am I"

This was brought up over two years ago, but like everything else, largely ignored.

People HAVE complained about Diebold. No one was listening. I tell people who want to stop the Bush insantity to vote absentee. I hope they'll listen.
