i think it means, u gotta use your Head. sometimes u cannot individually stop something, but the Least u can do is TRY... and that is where Protesting comes in. say what's on ur mind. let people know that something is going on...even if in the end it does "no good" to stop it, the Least u could do is get others acknowledgement that something is up.

for example, did u watch that seinfeld episode, the last one?? the fat guy was getting mugged, and instead of helping the 4 amigos just sat and laughed, and even videotaped it!! and they got arrested because there is a Good Samaritan law in that state, where if u don't try to help, or call the police, you are pretty much aiding and abetting the criminals!!

the least they could've done was told someone in higher authority if they weren't able to individually stop the theif (he could've had a gun, etc etc). therefore, instead of standing, doing nothing, thinking but not doing, we should always try to prevent injustice OR at least try to voice things out so that things can change.

Example

The Iraq war has had lots of protests in UK and USA but has not changed anything much. The protestors, in some eyes, have failed to prevent an injustice but by protesting the powers that be may change their mind about doing it in future.

This is not a post about whether the war is right or wrong.

What kind of injustice? We as humans, do not want justice. If we received justice for all of our actions, we would be doomed for sure. We want mercy.

However, we must always protest those people whose actions undermine our morals. This is injustice in itself. And during those times that we are performing our humanitarian duties of protest, we are also, in a manner of speaking, killing two birds, buy preventing these injustices.

All I make from this is that you should try to prevent injustice when you can, but if you can't...well...you can't! But what you can ALWAYS do is protest against it, so do it.
I can't say I quite agree with that. Imagine somebody put a gun to your head if you protest against him....

I almost think this quote could be subjective but to me it would suggest that their may be times that people must join together to protect the innocent EX:(stopping Hitler) but if anything seems wrong we have an obligation to protest or it could become acceptable. EX:(gas price gouging)
