What makes Hugo Weaving wierd. I have heard the rumors but I want to know what you all say

Hugo Weaving is an acting god, i will watch anything with him in it. V for Vendetta was excellent, but was he actually behind the mask or did he just do voice over? I don't know what makes him weird, didn't know he was, seems very sane in interviews. I agree with previous comment about Tom Cruise being a freak.

I have only seen him in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy. He was quite capable as an Elf leader. He doesn't seem odd to me.
