How do I make a leather jacket shine?

I don't just mean that restorative cream you can get for a few pounds/dollars etc, but some process to make the leather more lustrous than it was a when first made.

use baby oil. that is what i use on my doc martins and they look like they did when i first bought them.

Saddle soap

vasoline rubbed into it makes a nice gleam.
