I'm going to be a pirate at the Texas Renaissance Festiveal. I'll be wearing a regular belt, but want to wear a sash on top of it. I just am not sure of the best way to tie it.

Why can't people just give an honest answer to the question being posed? I'd go with tying it like a karate belt, as mentioned above. Any knot similar to that would be fine, really. Good luck.

I let all my pirates tie their own. THey just get so picky when I tie nice big bows.

You tie it around your WAIST...not WASTE! Just tie it to the side, above one hip.
