If the modem drivers are stable you should have no issues. Bad drivers will result in. The newer the operating system i.e Windows XP will decrease the risk. If you use XP create a restore point from the application, system restore.
Click on "start"
all programs
accessories
system tools

Before installing the drivers.
If you have a problem you can restore your PC to the point before you installed the drivers if their is a problem
System restore.

Why packard bell? loading tiscali is easy strait forward even an idiot can do it i am living proof of it have you got all the bits?
