There is a beauty tip I read a while ago re: acne for models...and what they do to minimize the 'oiliness' & help with the process of keeping skin freshed-up. Take a piece of scotch tape apply over the pimple or area of acne before you cleanse and pull off - you will see the peeling off the acne & oil stuff. Otherwise, I suggest Dove - the sensitive type - it is really a mild & clean washing soap. Another is Lubriderm, my dermatogist recommended that. And that is a super alternative for acne cleansing - I would say use that....then Dove. Hospitals use that on patients before surgery to clean skin...

Ya know, this not what you want to hear, but why not try doing nothing. I had acne and used SO many different products. I finally gave up on all of them and never washed my face. I would just let the shower water flow over it after washing my hair. Body chemistry is weird and if you dry your skin too much or moisturize too much, you are messing with your body's natural chemistry. Then again, this may not work so well if you wear make-up. Whoops.

Try a bar of unscented, unbleached, Dove soap. It's so mild you can use on babies. I use it myself, and it effectively prevents and dries out acne. Another acne treatment I use Neutrogena (Original) glycerin soap bar. I think they have a line for sensitive skin too. It leaves my skin feeling soft and very clean. It too does a superb job of keeping my face and body clear of acne!

Try using something like carex refreshing wipes for hands, face, or body or alternatively antiseptic wipes. Main thing is keeping the area hygienically clean.
