or do all the movies coming out lately suck for some reason

The answer to your question is "lack of originality". Think about it... Last years top sellers were either sequels, remakes, spin offs or pre-quels. Thats it, no original content. We get tons of part 2 and part 3's but nothing else has come out. This is why movies tend to suck more now a days. Back in the day the real battle was originality and bringing something new to the big screen. Now the battle is how many sequels can you come out with, even if the sequels are garbage.

Yup, Hollywood is running out of creative ideas for movies that is why there are so many sequels and remakes coming out. It sucks a lot.

Seems like so much has the same basic plots and ideas.
Lately I've been getting into foreign films just to get away of the typical ****.

yeah, they are running out of ideas. I cry when i think about it, because eventually there will be no more videogames,movies or tv

Yes. It seems like they are all "inspired by actual events" or they are a remake - nothing original there.

yeah, they do. i think all they care about is whatever sells. and apparently what sells sucks.
