What is common across all of mankind is the ability to have emotions. This is irrespective of race, color, or ethnicity, or which part of the earth you are from. The entire range of emotions is in the possession of every living human being on this earth.
Another aspect that is common throughout is the ability to dream. Whether it is a small child sleeping on an empty stomach in Darfur, or the man who comes home at night after a hard day's toil in Belfast, they all dream.

There are more differences in a pit bull and a poodle than in the most different humans,
and both a pit bull and a poodle are dogs.
What is common among all man physically? we are all the same (within a certain percentage of size difference) so much that a doctor doesn't have to ask you what race you are to be able to find your organs, or know how to help you.
are basic drives are very similar, but how those equate into action is influenced by our rearing.

This is kind of a broad question. I am certain there are many things that people have in common. It depends a lot on the individual (or individuals) that you are refering too.
I'd say the number one thing that we all share is that we are human! We have a brain and bodies - not to mention a spirit. Beyond this, there could be infinitely many different things in common.

A willingness to destroy. We are the only species on this planet that kills others of our kind solely for pleasure. Certainly, animals kill other animals. This is the nature of things, it is life. It is done for food, self-defense, and to settle disputes, but only humans find joy from destroying one another.
Animals live in harmony with nature. They recognize that they are part of the great cycle, not apart from it. Humans treat nature as their property, taking what they want and leaving behind destruction and death. We rape the resources of an area, taking what we want and leaving it unfit for life when we leave.
That is our legacy.
