It is used for a person, who is tops . one who has a crown on his head.It is used in Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi /Farsi ,etc. By Hindu word , i think you mean Hindi word.

Sartaj is mis-spelled and mis-pronounced ussually. Its correct spelling is Sirtaj.
Its a hindi word and means - "Sir Ka Taj"
That is - "Crown of the Head"
In general Hindi its used to address others as - "Mere Sirtaj," which means "The Crown Of My Head,"
It is a frivolous word and was mainly used by people for their Kings - to sound respectful and humble..
