Does anyone know of any perminant hair colors that are crazy primary colors. SImilar to "Special FX" but more perminant?
I'm just tired of my shirt colors being stained from the semiperminant ones and I like the colors to last.

Been coloring my own hair since I was in high school. Have had several friends who wound up being professional hair dressers, but they all have moved from the area.
I'm not incompetent in coloring my own hair. We're not talking about some teenager here.

I'm kind of partial to the Real Red colors. Not "hair red" but True Pigment Red.

Some of the beauty supply stores like Sally Beauty Suppy DO sell to non-professionals. Why don't you do a search and see if there is a Sally near you? They are a major chain. The clerks have cos licenses and can help you.

You need to find a friend with a beauty license and go to the actual beauty store - I went there and they had WILD colors that were permanent. Bright yellows, blues, pinks all kinds of crazy stuff.

if you go to a hair salon they have the more wild colors you can get like purple, deep blue and deep burgundy, they are permanent and i have seen them done where they look great. the blue is normally done as a highlight with very dark hair same with the burgundy.

look for a good salon and ask questions or for examples of what it would look like after being done.

i hope thats what your looking for.

It'd probably be kind of expensive, but I'd recommend you talk to a professional hairdresser. For that kind of thing you shouldn't take amateur advice.
