The judge would look into the facts, and determine whether the protection order itself was valid.
If the judge finds that the reason for the protection order was influenced by drugs, and not from an actual threat to ones safety, then the protection order could be suspended.
If the judge finds that drugs are a factor, the judge can order a test.
