1. There should have been a reason given by the bank .

2. Make a correspondance with co. under regd post and give few days to the co. to answer your letter.

3 If you dont receive any response, send a legal notice to the Co.

4. Even then if no reply is givento your satisfaction, you are free to take legal action either in the civil court or consumer forum.

Give the company a chance by representing again-or then file a suit against them under section 138 thru a lawyer. If you are lucky, you will be paid immediately on sending the notice, or may take some time for the case to start and be compensated

dear, was it your cheque or companies ? if its of company then: -
1. Wihin 30days send a notice demanding payment.
2. If within 15 days you don't recieve payment then file a 138 negotiable I act case along with 420.
3. If you feel a little pressure will work then process same thru police station or go directly to court.

& if , it was your cheque....then make sure you have all neccessary proofs (managed) to prove that chque was issued not as a liability............................rest can be taken care by analysing case......... nitin30india@yahoo.co.in

sounds like you need to take it to Official Attorney for the local district your in - if you can't make the company honour it -
