there are loads of old wives tales ..hold a ring over the tummy etc.. but i guess the best way is to get the scan if you want to kniw xxxxxxxxx best of luck whatever your having will be a bundle of joy xxxxx

You cant. Even with an ultrasound it still can be a guess. I have at least 3 friends who were told that they were having girls and ended up with boys. The only thing that is for sure is an amnio, but dont have one done just to determine gender. You can have fun and play with the chineese lunar predictor, they were correct with both of my children.

Aside from doing an amnio, there is absolutely no way to tell the gender. You have 50-50 chance for guessing it right.

There is an old wives tale, if you get some one to hold a gold wedding ring on a long piece of cotton over your bump if it swings side to side its a boy if it goes in a circle its a girl! its best to take it as a bit of fun though. x

my grandmother always said if your tummy is round like a baseball, its a girl. If your tummy is pointy like a foot ball, then its a boy. she predicted all of us grand kids 26 and all of her great grandkids 7 and a few friends babys 3 and was only rong for about 7 of them. but the trick is to wait untill your about 7 to 8 months, so your tummy is out there. if you try it earlier, your tummy shape can change.

An amnio would be the only way to know for sure. It has nothing to do with how you carry the baby, or what you crave. Those myths have been wrong for me and most of my friends.

you can't ! and sometimes an ultrasound won't tell you either , wait you can have amniocentesis that will tell you but i think it's a more uncomfortable way of finding out

You cant.. anything that says you can is just a guess.
To do an amnio, they still do a scan so Im guessing that isnt the answer.

i been pregnant 3times .i did the needle with thread with all 3 of them and came out to be true .girl,boy,girl
