good question, I live in Newark, the place is awful.

has a nice museum
has a nice theatre
thats about it really
Newark is a dump, the best thing would be to bulldoze the place off the map.

Newark is one of the best cities in new jersey, my favorite place to be. I was born and lived in newark for about 5 years, then moved a town over(Harrison)there are a lot of good things to do while your there. Sure there is a lot of crime but if you dont bother anybody no one will bother you ya Dig so if u stay out of other peoples business you'll be okay!!!!!

DOWNTOWN (WHERE THEY SELL EVERYTHING REALLY CHEAP, you'll find whatever it is that you need. They slang a lot of sh!t there but its cool you got to be really alert of everything going on around you though lol ; )
