Yeah tape it and watch it later . Sometimes I like to watch the ads with the sound on mute and try to work out what they are trying to sell you.

No. I hate it when I watch on a channel like HBO where there are no breaks. If it is a good movie I can't get snacks or go pee or anything. TIVO would work for that too wouldn't it?

Yes! They spend more time showing commercials that the shows. I hate waiting all week to see something and it gets interupted by commercials every 10 minutes.

Yes and then it seems like the commercials last forever, then when the show comes back on it seems like it's on for about 30 seconds and then POOF! back to a stupid commercial! Grr.

What's worse is when you're at the last ten minutes of the show and the power goes out - almost happened to me last night while watching House, my FAVORITE show!

Or they test the emergency broadcast system. Why don't they ever test the thing during commercials?

Oh yes really gets on my wick. We record most things and watch them later with heavy use of fast forward button.

Yeah, I hate that too, but look at it this way, it gives you a minute for popcorn or a bathroom break.
