Parent's Choice (Found in Wal-Mart only)
I have a boy. I was given Huggies and pampers when he was born. He leaked through them all. I tried Parents Choice (What would it hurt it was only 5.74 for a pack) and they worked perfectly. They keep him dry all the time.
He is 6 months old and has not had a diaper rash yet!!!
He has now moved to size 3 and I was given a box of Huggies for him. I thought I would use them or try them again and last night he leaked again!
I recommend Parent's Choice to everyone that has a baby still in diapers. I also recommend their formula. My son loved their formula and he did not have cholic either.

I really like Pampers. I used the Swaddlers when my son was new born the switched to Baby Dry. Now we are using the Easy Ups. The only time we had trouble was when he outgrew a diaper - if he had a blowout we knew the diaper was too small (no matter what the size on the label said). The Easy Ups do seem to have a problem holding his water through the night.

We tried several but kept coming back to Pampers Cruisers. When he was smaller we used Pampers Swaddlers (love em!) and now Pampers Cruisers. Because the tabs are stretchy and make a great fit around his hips. Not just the tape is stretchy like others, the whole "side" of the diaper is stretchy. Swaddlers are better than the Cruisers but they only go up to a certain weight. If you buy the big jumbo boxes, you get a much better price. You can sign up at the Pampers website and they will send you coupons once in awhile. Babies R Us coupons are better though, if you have one near you. Sign up for their mailings. We get a $5 coupon every couple of months.
We tried less expensive store brands but ended up using more diapers and not saving any money.

If I have the money, my favorite brand of diapers is Huggies. My bargin brand is the ToysRUs brand of diapers. I really don't care too much for Pampers or Luvs, because they put perfumes in there diapers and the Pampers leaked all the time, but that could be because I might have had the wrong size.

Every baby fits slightly different, and even different at various growing sizes. We have tried to use almost every brand, and have actually had the most luck so far with Walmart's Parents Choice brand. Way cheaper than pampers, huggies, etc. And they fit our baby great. I also like the indicators they have built in that will let you know if the diaper is wet without having to have a peak in :)
My 2 cents. The best thing to do is buy small amounts of different brands first and see what fits your baby best. Most people will have different favourites simply because different brands fit different babies better than other.

I have 2 boys and for my first baby i used Huggies all the time, and for my second baby am using the "SMILES DIAPERS" this is the brand i know are cheap and do well, very well. I can tell you that these diapers do the same job like these other expensive brands. These Pampers and Huggies have gone too damn expensive. Try em, i recommend 'em.

Until my daughter was mobile i used cheap store brand diapers. Once she bacame mobile, i started using Pampers Cruisers on her. She is now in Pampers Easy Ups. Shop Rite has them on sale ALL the time plus i get tons of coupons in the mail.
I recomend only Pampers. Huggies leaked for my daughter and Luvs gave her a yeast infection.

I think it depends on if the child is a boy or girl. My son can only wear pampers; everything else leaks, especially Huggies and Luvs. We have tried just about every off brand we could get our hands on as well, but only Pampers seem to keep him from leaking. I have heard several people say the love Huggies, but most of them have little girls. I think the fit or protection must be in a different spot.

I used Pampers Swaddlers at first and now use Pampers Baby Dry. They seem to do the best job. They are not be the cheapest, but sign up at pampers.com and they will send you coupons and you can earn points and redeem for baby toys. Also in every pack of diapers you get a $1.00 off coupon.
