Everytime i saw tourists in my country, i found out that they are damn tall around 5 feet and 8 inches to 6 feet 1 inch i think while asians themselves are around 5 feet to 5 feet 5 inches.why is this so? does it affect the environment we stay?

May be due to diet which is low in protein. Asian born and raised in the US are quite a bit taller than those in Asia. It also has to do with environment. Weather in Asia is warmer, the smaller you are the less heat your body retains. The weather in Europe is colder, so they tend to be taller, larger to retain body heat. Culture may also play a part, Polynesians are large people yet they live in a warm climate. To them beauty is a large, fat body. Disputes also played a part as they were a warrior society where the larger more physical warriors were likely to win in battle.

The availability of animal protein is the primary reason. Studies have shown that the generation of Asians born and raised in the US are taller. Even though McDonald's is junk food, it contains more protein.

It has to do with genetics, as well as nutrition. The average Asian doesn't consume nearly the amount of protein western Europeans and Americans do.

I believe it is due to their genes. Asians are generally shorter by nature although there are some exceptions.

I think whites and blacks were living in a harsher enviroment way back in the past. but thats just a theory
