Get over the counter Benadryl and take as directed. Might make you a little drowsy.

There's a HUGE range of things it could be.
Could be a food allergy, an animal allergy, a plant allergy, a virus, allergy to washing powder, all manner of things!
Your best bet is to go and see a doctor or nurse about it. You've tried treating it sensibly and you've realised it's not going, so tell your doctor what you've tried, it will give him/her a better idea of what to suggest and diagnose.
If you really refuse to see a doctor/nurse, then you might try either a cream called Eurax or you could try Germolene (depending on which one seems to suit you better when you read the box). Both are available from Boots and Superdrug.
Seeing as this is in the "Alternative Medecine" section, you may also like to try Tea Tree oil or Lavender oil - both are safe for use on the skin, though I'd avoid it if the skin is broken. Sticky though it might be, honey rubbed in may help - it is soothing and a natural antibacterial.

Please do not take any drastic conventional medicine, your rash and itching seems to be the result of side effects of some medicine you are taking or have been taking recently.
Take the Homeopathic Remedy SULFUR 200 once a day first thing in the morning and do not take anything to eat or drink for atleast 30 minutes after taking it and you will get rid of your itch and rash in a few days, without any side effects or complications. Anything which itches will always will get ref lief with the use of SULFUR.
Take Care and God Bless you !
P.S
And whatever you do please do not take anything which has Cortisone in it.

There's no alternative to seeing the doc as skin rashes are v hard to diagnose. If you are itching, try a teaspoon of almond oil (but not if you have nut allergy) with 2 drops of lavender in it.
It could be stress, psoriasis, food intolerance, an allergic reaction to something you are coming into contact with or a whole load of other things.

It could be an allergic reaction. Try talking to your pharmacist and get their advice. E45 cream is very mild, and I find Eucerin cream better for my dry skin, they may advise antihistamine. If not you may need to see your doctor who can prescribe something more suitable.

It still could be eczema. You might want to also think about it being a possible allergic reaction. Especially if you have changed detergents recently or lotions..etc. If it's eczema putting something cool on it can help relieve the itchiness (like a bag of peas or something). If none of this helps I would really consider going to the doctor.

An itchy rash is often caused by an allergy; have you changed soap or soap powder/ conditioner in your washing?
Less commonly it could be a fungal infection and although it will go eventually, a doctor can prescribe anti-fungal creams.
If you have had it for a week you should see a doctor.

It still could be eczema, try sudocrem or hydrocortisone cream, if this doesn't help within 3 days visit your GP. Hope you get better soon! By the way try not to scratch it, it could spread. Take care.

Could be ringworm (a type of fungal rash not an actual worm!) or maybe contact dermatitis. Here are some links to look at and compare symptoms.
