I just moved to NC, what can I expect on the driver's test? Anything I should specifically look for? Example: in PA you have to know the implied consent law. It's always on the test.

You will have to take a written test along with a driving test. The written isn't too bad but it will put your studying to the test. You will have to know distances, the rules of obeying school bus stops, parking on hills, rules of right of ways in different situations, just basic things like that. I am not aware of anyone having to know the implied consent of the law.
The driving is the easiest. You will have to do a 3 point turn-come to a complete stop the moment they tell you to. You will have to know how to back up for as long as they want you to.
You will also have a sign test-visual -know them....You will have a test for your eyes-just reading a line of letters.
It's really not that bad.

Just go to the DMV or on their website and pick up one of their booklets. That will give you a good idea. And study your street signs.
