No, not at all. The needles are hair-thin and aside from a tiny sting when inserted, you shouldn't feel anything. If it hurts, it's possible the person didn't place them properly.

Some people are sissies when it comes to acupuncture but no getting needles in your hand does not hurt, it may slightly hurt if it actually hits the correct pressure point as it will release the pressure by releasing blood but the sensation is more like a weak pinch than anything

They're not supposed to hurt, but I have found them painful on several occasions. It depends on how close to the acupuncture point the needle was inserted. It can be painful if placed right on the point. It's supposed to be a dull pain, and a lot of people only experience that sensation. However, it depends on how sensitive your system is and how good the practitioner is.

It really dosen't hurt it stings a little bit when they first insert the needle but nothing that a deep breath won't take care of. If it hurts hurts then maybe you should see another accupunturist. I have been doing it for years and I am deathly afraid of needles but this has not been a problem for me.

It shouldn't. I believe pressure points don't have pain nerves. However, I guess mistakes can be made. If it hurts, just yell to stop.
