That'll never happen. We're already had to bail out Mexico several times and Canada is worse off than many people think. Those that know will laugh at the prospect of bringing them in.

There probably has been talk about this in some political circles.
But it is highly unlikely that the government of the United States of America would seriously entertain such a move.
It doesn't weigh in the interest of our country at present time.
However, once China starts its economic world domination (which, of course, we Americans are feeding that beast through our purchase of all things Chinese), then watch the political winds change as America tries to recapture what it is slowly losing.

No. If that were the case we would already have open borders with Mexico and would not fight so hard against them being here illegally. The U.S. is also not ready to adapt Canada's taxation and health program.

No. 1. Canada would not likely be interested. 2. We would not want to support Mexico. We're better off financially without the burden of Mexico and they are better off politically without the burden of the US' foreign policy.
