In the way the question is written, I am going to assume you mean "Why is it good for managers to keep good attendance records for their employees? As in ACCURATE records?"
If this is what you mean. It's important because it's the only way the employee keeps their accrued time up to date and is able to use it, it's also important because it can be used either for or against the employee in the duration of their employment. IE: Good attendance will reward you with raises or good evaluations. Poor attendance can be used as a grounds for write ups or a back up reason for termination.

A manager in a business is like the gas in a car, keeps things moving. Also the manager keeps the hours per person strait.

Managers lead a group of employees. If the manager is absent alot then that shows the employees they can be absent alot. Lead by example!!!!!

because being a manager means you are in charge and accept the responsibility of this. to be short how can you know whats going on to be in charge if you are not there to know whats going on .
