No, I don't. For the most part, there are two types of people to whom you are going to try to drive home a point to begin with. There are those who are interested in what you have to say and may ask questions in order to understand how you arrived at your conclusion. And, there are those who already have their mind made up on the subject and aren't the least bit interested in facts or someone else's views. On the latter, you're wasting your breath to try to drive home a point, anyway.

It depends on who I'm talking to. Most of the time, yes, since it seems necessary as most people are not too swift and not listening to begin with.

When I need to reword what I said I do. Otherwise I try to use different verbs and adjectives so it doesn't seem like I'm rambling.
