I'm 36 and I've had the IUD for 3 years. so, another 2 years and 30,000 mi left on this one, but Can I get another one put in at the age of 38? I just don't want to get my heavy periods back... this thing is a dream come true, 1 day period and I can't get pregnant. What more can a girl ask for? So, I was just wondering if anyone knew..

To answer your question: Yes! You can get another put in at age 38. I know because I have one myself! I love mine too! It's been great. My periods are light and only last 2 days, I can't get preg...it's nothing to worry about. Mine goes every 5 yrs too! :)

We are both fabulous!

Yes you can have another one put right back in when they take the old one out. As far as age I'm 39 and just had my first one put in.
