When Steve Irwin die some feminist (who's name escapes me) completely bad-mouthed the man, and showed no respect for his efforts to promote animal awareness and care. Yet, feminists, (including on this forum) defended her! The admire her for "speaking her mind". Yet, they ridicule Ann Coulter for her harsh words, (which I don't agree with) to the wives of 9/11. Yes, 9/11 is in a different league than Irwin's death, but the feminist's comments were just as innapropriate, nonetheless.
I think the true reason feminists hate Ann Coulter is because she's a 'conservative' women with greater influence than the whole NOW organization combined. The woman has 5 best-sellers. While the hasbeen feministic authors wither away, Ann Coulter only grows in fame. I believe they are just intimidated, and jealous. Do you agree?

Were you under the impression feminists were basically fair?
Remember the beginning of the so-called feminist revolution, when there was published a magazine with a title that used to be the abbreviation for the word "manuscript"? The idea was that women should be able to conceal their marital status in the same way that men do. That was the premise behind the name, and the whole idea of disrupting one of the oldest manners in history; that a woman's marital status is by nature a part of who she is, and ought not to need to be concealed.
As My Steve would say, that whole magazine, and the movement it spearheaded, was based on the premise: "Stop being exploited by men! Start being exploited by women!"
Betty Friedan, I believe it was, gave herself away when she wrote a magazine article that was titled "Feminism Implies Socialism." I never even read the article, but I stared at the title, said, "You know, she's right," and have never since let anyone call me a feminist. Because it requires treating people as categories, rather than as individuals with their own style and their own interpretation of their gender and its role.

I don't speak for feminists, I do speak my mind, and expect others to do the same, whether or not I agree with them.
Ann Coulter has acclaim and yes she has 5 best sellers. I do not feel intimidated nor do I envy her success.
My view is that Ann Coulter is very able to create and deliver a unique brand for herself and I would never endorse or sponsor her notions or views because we fundamentally disagree on the application of facts in the form of an argument. I am of the opinion based upon the interviews I have seen that Coulter never lets the facts get in the way of a strong opinion.

Who's Ann Coulter?
I'm a feminist and I happened to like Steve Irwin aka "The Crocodile Hunter'".
Anyone who does a kid show like "The WIggles" to teach children about animals can't be a bad guy. Plus, the kids loved him.....
RIP Steve Irwin.

I agree with you 100%..
Germaine Greer is the has-been feminazi who fell out of the limelight a decade ago and is seeking her last 15 minutes of fame by bad mouthing Steve Irwin...
Ann Coulter & Condi Rice would both be great as high elected officials...

The only standard Ann Coulter should be held to is a HUMAN standard, and by that standard she is an utter failure. She is a vicious character-assassinating Gorgon. I am not the least impressed that she can get a best seller from throwing red meat at the other hate-mongering troglodytes out there.

Ann Coulter is held to different standards because she is un afraid to challenge the agenda of the libs. Just as Hillary was not judged by anyone in NOW for her "stand by your man" stance after hubby was found engaging in acts of oral peasure with Monica.

Give the first guy the best answer vote. I couldn't have said what he said better myself.
Ann Coulter needs medication. Poor Nancy Grace. If she knew that her name was used in the same sentence as Ann Couter she'd kill herself.

The only standard she should be held to is a light standard, just before she is shot.
She is an assbag in the lines of Nancy Grace. Why anyone would listen to them drone on completely escapes me..........
