Aggressively seeking and finding an alternative to fossil fuels would help get rid of him, ahmedinejad and a few others.

The right way is for the people of Venezuela to vote him out of office. I have actually met him twice. He is passionate about his country and people and cares deeply about the poor and injustice that keeps them there. He is also the first ever Venezuelan President who has tried to redsitribute the vast amount of oil wealth that the country manages to generate.
Unfortunately, he is also quite mad, power intoxicated, not quite up to the task of international statesmanship, unstable and backed by some pretty nasty people who are not mad - just plain nasty. His current mission to form an international coalition that is basically anti US (rather than having a more sensible agenda) is quite misguided and will only serve to ruin his country rather than build it. The US after all is the destination of most of its oil, industrial products, agricultural goods, intellectual property (including its brightest students) and money earned that is placed in US banks rather than re invested in Venezuela.
Such a shame. Venezuela is truely a nation blessed with huge natural resources, beauty, flair and natural talent. It could do so much more on the international scene rather than make itself an international figure of ridicule.

Best way to get rid of him would be to photoshop some pictures of him with Russian President, Putin...
Make it look as if they were more than just friends...
Then do the same thing with Chinese leaders, castro, etc.
Venezuelans are extremely homophobic to start, but if the masses (and they are pretty uneducated, so they will believe anything that they see) believe that their leader is getting it on with other world leaders in a "gay way"... they will then overthrow the Venezualen government, and start selling oil to the United States for almost nothing, because they are so embarassed.

Not our problem and we don't need to do any more "nation building" like we're doing in Iraq (and a fine job of it, too! Ha!).
What I would suggest is this:
Boycott petroleum products from Venezuela.
Nationalize CITGO...that's right, take over the company offices here in America.
And work very, very hard to push alternative energy in this country to ween us off our crude oil addiction.
When oil profits fall in Venezuela, the people will overthrow Chavez.

Well first we have to cut off trade with him and then the goverment has to go over there and try to make Venezuela a democracy and free the oppressed people from his dumb azz dictatorship so we can have another war going on and so that more people will hate us.
Besides the media/goverment dont take him seriously they think he is an idiot.
