How long did it take after your baby started cruising/side stepping along furniture, before they walked alone? What about running?

My son has just started cruising at seven months. I read somewhere that they start walking on their own about two months after they start cruising. I'm not too sure because my son isn't there yet but I thought I'd put my two cents in!

My son started cruising at 10 months. He took 2 steps at 14 months, then didn't walk AT ALL until he was 18 months. He started running (more up and down than forward, I love that toddler run) 2 months later.
My daughter cruised at 10 months too, but started walking at 13 months. They really are all different!

Cruising at 8 months, walking at 10 months. Running came significantly later as it requires coordination. I think she ran at about 14-15 months.

My son was extremely early at this and skipped crawling all togeter. He was cruising at 8 months and walking by himself at 9 and running (penguin run) by 10.

It took my daughter about 3 weeks. I had to look it up last night in her baby book, cause my son (9months) started cruising the couch yesterday! Yea! Don't remember about the running and I didn't write it in her baby book.

It all depends on the child my son was walking by 11 months and my daughter crusied from 12 months before she took her first at 15 months so who knows it all depends on how confident she is my son crusied, walked and ran with in 2 weeks good luck with your little one

My son has been cruising for about 2 weeks now. He is now able to stand on his own with no help. but that is all he can do..

It took my now 15 month old 2weeks of holding on to things b-4 he walked on his own.But he did'nt start walking until 13mnths.And did'nt crawl until 10-11mths.He started running about a month ago.Good Luck!!!

MY SON STARTED CRUISING ABOUT 10 MO'S WALKING AT 11MO NOW HE IS 13MO AND HE TRIES TO RUN BUT IT JUST LOOKS LIKE WALKING FAST!! IT IS CUTER THAN HELL THO
