Yep it's normal. Your body is adapting to your growing baby. If you feel uneasy speak to your gp or midwife :)

yes, some are normal but if the pain is sharp that may not be normal. Some of that is due to the growth of the muscles. If you havent already made an appointment you should do so today. this is also helpful write a list of questions to ask your doctor so that you dont forget. I know i had a huge list with my first child. Take it easy and dont be lefting nothing heavy either. Good Luck with you and the baby!!

i too am 6 weeks and have been having the same. Dr sent me for a transvaginal ultrasound yesterday to check for ectopic pregnancy. All was fine. They explained that once the sinsister ectopic is ruled out, it is probably either round ligament pain or an ovarian cyst, which is harmless and happens a lot in pregnancy. If u r worried ask doc for the above scan, it really put my mind at rest
Good luck

It will just be stretching of the ligaments and maybe even stomach muscles because many say it dont happen but for some women it does this early on but if the pain becomes really painful and you start to loose blood get to your gp congratulations and just try to relax

No big deal. I felt like my period was around the corner for the first two months b/c of a dull uncomfortable feeling there. There is a lot going on.. muscles stretching

Yes you are normal i am sure. Remember your body is going through massive changes and adjusting.
If you are worried please go and visit the doc.
I was worried at 6 weeks and has slight bleeding so they sent me to the early pregnancy dept for checks and I found i was having twins and the symptoms were just my body changing but it put my mind at rest.
All the best to you xxx

dear six weeks pregnant,
get to a doctor fast, a month ago i lost my baby, i was seven weeks pregnant and started getting cramps and spotted bleeding, a pregnancy is a special time for any woman and her partner, even if the doctor tells you everything is okay you will feel better and start relaxing, stressing is neither good for you or your baby. please let me know, how you did. good luck and god bless.

Most likely it's the increase of hormones and your muscles streching because your uterus is growing. As long as there is no heavy cramping or bleeding you should be ok. Talk to your Dr.

Why don't you go and see a doctor. A bit pointless to ask questions to people that may not be professionals!
