Why should God bless the USA ? This country (and others)embraces things that run contrary to godly standards, such as gay lifestyles and the legalization of abortion and pornography. Even though "In God We Trust" is found on American currency, the US government uses military force to straighten out conflicts around the world instead of relying on Jehovah God to handle matters in His due time. Although cigarette smoking has proved to be dangerous, the US government allows the tobacco industry to stay in business, resulting in the premature deaths of thousands of people each year, many of whom never smoked. In certain regions of this nation, such as Las Vegas, prostitution is legal and is openly practiced. This country also observes rituals that are clearly pagan in origin, such as Halloween, Christmas and Easter.
The Bible at Daniel 2:44 tells us that the time is near when Jehovah God will destroy all human rulerships (including the USA) and then He will set up a heavenly kingdom or government that will remove all the problems that we are currently experiencing, like the divisive effects of false religion, poverty, crime, sickness, racial hatred, old age and death. His government, in the hands of Jesus Christ, will reverse all the effects of man's mismanagement of this planet, such as air and water pollution, global warming, starvation, and growing deserts.
So does God bless the USA? What do you think?

we are still enjoying God's blessings from the past, but I don't think God is happy with the USA anymore.. USA isn't mentioned very much in the Bible, so I have a sinking feeling that our days are numbered..

Contrary to popular current belief our nation was set up as a god fearing nation. Thanksgiving was not set up to honor the native Americans as we are now taught but was dedicated a day to give thanks to God. If you read the constitution there is no mention of "separation of church and state". Thomas Jefferson was quoted as pointing out a "Wall of Separation between Church and State", but the actual law was to protect the people's right to believe in what they wish, the law was not to keep God out of America or our government.
The U.S. was established as a God fearing nation, as long as it continues to respect and worship God, we will be blessed.

That's nice of you to bless yourself so generously, (is it?)
Better to ask that other countries be equally blessed than boast I would have thought if you understand your own religion at all.
