I can't remember where I read it recently, but in the 3rd trimester avoid peanuts, peanut oil, and peanut butter. I was very glad to see this being suggested finally! My 1st daughter (she's 9 now)has severe sunflower oil allergies and peanut allergies (she has to have an Epi Pen shot with her at all times)....my main craving during the last 2 months of pregnancy with her and what I ate for 3 weeks after delivery--- every night a toasted bagel with peanut butter on it and a huge amount of Dorritos (which contain sunflower oil). Please, avoid these items. Also a friend at work ate PB&J sandwiches every day for her last month of pregnancy and her son is allergic to Peanuts, peanut oils, and PB.
Pine nuts...I'm not sure about..but I am avoiding ALL nuts with this baby!

I would check with your doctor about any questions you have regarding what you eat during pregnancy. I'm not pregnant, but hope to have a baby someday. I think I'll be more scared about what I eat than I will about actually giving birth! And since there's a lot of contradictions out there from different doctors, probably best to get opinions from a few professionals. good luck!

Moderate eating will be fine BUT be warned - you will probably be a gas bag for a while - best keep hubby/boyfriend out of harms way

this would be a good question for your doctor. if your family or the babys father have allergys. it might be wise to stay away from them. penut and tree nut ( 2 seperate allergys) are two of the worst allergys to have

I dont think so because it can cause the baby to have a nut allergy, check with your midwife.
