where can you get it done?

I just find it hard to believe that threading doesn't hurt as bad. I'm sure you're telling the truth. Don't get me wrong. But isn't it a longer process? It looks like torture to me but it's some new big thing that everyone talks about.

You can have threading done by a professional at your local beauty salon. The first time, i would say it hurts because you're not used to the sudden pain. But the process takes a very short while, in fact, you could be done in minutes. I've had my whole face done already before via threading. Yes, my whole face, not just upper lip and eyebrow area. Results were fanstastic (not immediately after, my skin was still adapting, a bit red for a few minutes, but subsided immediately), my face appeared cleaner, clearer, smoother. :) If you have your eyebrows threaded regularly, i promise you, you'll get used to the pain, and will just turn into a sort of pricking sensation. :) It's quite addictive since you know that you'll look absolutely Fab afterwards.
(about waxing, i think it's ok, but if i'm not mistaken it's more expensive)

btw, i guess one way of describing the sensation of threading is --- having your hairs plucked out by a tweezer but at a faster rate and several hairs at a time

Does Eyebrow Threading Hurt

Eyebrow threading hurts less than waxing and is a more precise way to shape and maintain your eyebrows. It feels like a gentle tugging but no real pain. Threading takes a little longer than waxing -- about 10 to 15 minutes as opposed to about 5 minutes. I love threading because there is no chance of taking too much of the brow off, which has happened to me during waxing in the past. Honestly, I'll never go back to waxing now that I've discovered threading.

no, I am 12 and I got them done for the first time ever, and it really doesn't hurt. By far the worst part is the first line, it takes a little while to get used to but it feels fine.I recommend getting them done at a high rated salon made for specifically threading. Waxing is bad for your skin and can cause breakouts.Threading however lightly removes the hair with little pain. Also waxing cost more and is not as efficient and you have to get threading done as much as waxing. Overall threading, in my opinion is much better, not only for your skin but also for your time and wallet.

Treading hurts a little, but not as much as waxing.

It's better than waxing not only because it's less painful, but because it's much easier on your skin, & it gives your brows a better shape.

You would have to look on Yelp to find where you can get your brows threaded in your area. Many hair salons & malls have threading. I actually get mine threaded at a threading salon- they do threading & nothing else.

It takes about the same amount of time as waxing. When you're getting your brows waxed more hair is being removed at once, but they have to apply the hot wax very carefully & clean the wax off your skin afterward. Which makes waxing & threading take the same amount of time.

threading does not hurt. well not for me and i'm 12. i always had very thick eyebrows and kinda wanted it to be more cleaner and my mom took me for threading because that how she gets them done, so the first time i got it was a couple months ago and it kinda hurt but it does hurt a bit more toward the end of the eyebrows but towards the middle it doesn't hurt. and the end results i loved it was very precise

I did eyebrow threading for the first time yesterday and it really doesn't hurt as much as you think it does. you may tear a little because after all it's pulling hair out, and it'll redden after the process but it takes quite fast to get it done and it doesn't hurt except for the area nearer to your eyes.

Yes it hurts because the string is literally pulling out a bunch of hairs at the same time! It's a feeling I can't really describe you have to go i for yourself. But it's better for the skin and is more precise!

Hey!! comin from India, I have always known to do threading for my eyebrows and upper lip, It sure is painful for the first time, but doing it regularly makes it feel like tiny pricks on your skin at a random speed. Well it is true that it is better for your skin and a better alternative to waxing, and if done really fast, alleviates the pain a little :)

I absolutely love being waxed and thought id be the same with threading but boy was I wrong.its horrible and hurts like hell. We had to do it in my beauty therapy course. They say threading is better as its less trauma to the skin and good for people who have hyler sensative skin and alergic to waxing.personaly ill stick to waxing its quicker and painless
