A yarn over is just wrapping the yarn around the right needle. Wrap the yarn in the same direction as do to knit a stitch, but you don't knit a stitch. That's it!

On the next row, treat the YO as you would a regular stitch.

By the way, a yarn over doesn't include working the next stitch.

There's a video that shows how to do a YO at the URL below. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on one of the camera icons.

To create a YO you bring the yarn over the needle just like you do when makeing a stitch except your between stitches. To explain it another way, bring your yarn forward as if to purl but then just take it back over the needle thus creating a yarn over (new stitch). If this doesn't help you could check out the knitting instructions at http://lionbrand.com and they have pictures so that should help you, and while your there you could pick up a free pattern for lace. Good luck.

K6 potential knit 6 stitches no longer 6 rows. K2 tog potential you insert the point of the right hand needle via the second one and the first stitch on the left hand needle at the same time, wrap the yarn round the needle and pull the yarn via both stitches. it really is called lowering. For video clips google "a thanks to chop back knitting" even as training are in brackets you repeat the preparation between ( and ) the variety of circumstances given. for this reason each and every of how round to the position you all started.
