A few days ago Coach Bill Parcels said T.O. was having adverse reactions to his pain medication. On ESPN they said T.O. had an elergic reaction to his pain meds, but every other news source says that T.O. tried to commit suicide by overdosing on his pain pills. Do you think this was a suicide attempt by T.O.? Did you see this coming, and what kind of problems was TO having with his meds earlier in the week?

Either the Cowboys are trying to hide something, or the media is trying to make something out of nothing. The reports I heard on the news were that he took 35-40 pills, which suggest a suicide attempt. (I guess since then he's denied those reports.)

But that doesn't really make sense. This guy loves to be famous. Why throw it away now?

This is now being reported as a suicide attempt. I saw something coming - TO's just a train wreck. No-one, Jerry Jones at least, seems to have learnt nothing from Darryl Strawberry.

I wish nothing bad for TO as a person - but there can be no surprise that things have gone off the rails.

Q. Anyone wonder what Donovan McNabb is thinking now ?

I live in Dallas and the news has confirmed that it is an attempted suicide. He was given a prescription of 40 pain pills. He had taken 5 of them, and then he took 35 at one time. Just because someone has fame and money doesn't mean they don't have problems.

A shame that he tried to committ suicide, for sure he's were given better complications internally. yet right here's the authentic shame. each and every of the Cowboys and Parcells are fascinated in is that if he will play on Sunday. they don't look to care that the guy is thoroughly tousled and football may be area to blame besides Owens himself. He desires to stroll remote from the game for a even as and get his existence lower back at the same time. He has a lengthy life previous to him after football. yet each and every of the cowboys opt to understand is that if he can play on sunday. Thats the saddest area of the completed project.

I would have adverse reactions to taking 35 pain pills, too. He's hurt and out of the spotlight so he needs attention. He wouldn't have done it if someone wasn't there to save him. Sorry to sound cynical; I wish him the best and hope he gets mental treatment, but he's being more than a little selfish considering all the blessings he's been given.

I've only heard the "allergy to pain meds" story, but who knows? I guess it's possible he OD'd and they spun the story to say it was an allergic reaction. I guess anyone would have an allergic reaction to a large number of pain pills!

He wants attention. In any way possible.
If he really wanted to die he would have shot himself in the head.
It's just like Deion Sanders' supposed suicide attempt in the 90's when he drove his car off an expressway. He just wanted attention. That's what these NARCISSISTS are all about: ATTENTION, even if it's negative attention!!

T.O. would'nt up & kill himself for no reason he just took to many painkillers to stop his hand from hurting.
