Unlike Landis, Armstrong avoided "doping" consequences and now he is running in the New York Marathon. Appropriately, and like other high-profile atheletes, he should be thoroughly screened for performance enhancing drugs. Perhaps he will get caught this time!

I think Armstrong was every bit as guilty of doping (and for being a dope) as Landis -- he just happened to be doing it at a time when the screening methods were not as advanced as they are today. His fight against cancer was inspiring, but that inspiration is undercut by the manner in which he competed.
