You're not suppose to draw too much attention to this Republican phenomenon - in truth, it's obviously a conspiracy for generating more real estate taxes for all of Bush's friends to squander and steal at the local levels of government.
Either that, or the wheels for this upturn in home sales were put into motion by Bill Clinton's policies and are just now starting to pay dividends - not because, but in spite of the Republicans being in control.
Don't laugh - there's no doubt whatsoever in my mind that ANY improvement in ANY area of life during an "X" administration will be spun into some kind of extension of when "Y" was in office.

Really? Wow? Where? Housing is declining. And the concept of middle class is a misnomer in the US. It is only the surviving Middle Class who are buying as we have lost a big chunk of that population. And while your numbers may be telling you of Bush's successes, the foreclosure rate is the highest in history as well. Is that your success? Go peddle your propaganda someplace else.

No, greed and the herd instinct. When the market collapses as interest rates rise they'll be just as fast to get out then you'll be left w. a selection of homes to buy at auction for what they cost to build and even less, £$10 grandish and we'll be back to the beginning of a new cycle again.

Yes! His evil plan is to call upon the fed to manipulate interest rates and slow inflation, creating a more stable economy and a bull market, thereby allowing greater prosperity in the middle class! What a sicko! We really should impeach him!

Yes, Bush just wants us to be happy with less taxes and less government controls.
He wants us to be prosperous home owners and to die in our sweet liberty and happyness as free Americans.
