Anything is possible. However, I recommend you do a background check, before dating anyone you meet on the internet. I dated a gentleman I met through an online dating website. I did a background check and found out he was using the social security number of his dead father, AND, he had been charged with stalking a woman. On the outside he was a great guy, but, when I read the report . . . be careful. The service I used for the background check is knowx.com

NO,think about it.....how can you be 'serious' reading words? It definitely is a "beginning" for a relationship...but you still need to see how you get along in person through everyday situations, physical chemistry, and shared experiences. If you mean can you MEET someone through internet /online sites and begin a serious relationship...yes, you can. Writing back and forth for a while can give you a little "sense" of what the other person is like, talking on the phone when you feel comfortable is good, too. Just be careful, though, there are A LOT of nutjobs and weirdos out there! Good luck.

Yeah, but u better watch ur back! it's not really that clear. I mean, how bad you'd feel if ur true love(a person which u thought was ur true love) turns out to be totally different then what he showed to u, u see ur true love hanging out or kissing another woman in front of u! or he turns out to be a theif, murderer etc.it would feel really bad, right? So, I'm not in favour of 'internet dating' at all, the guy u love(on the net) might(possibly) think it's just a joke. u better find someone face to face, not on internet(for safety)

Yes. I met my now Husband on the internet in 1997 we communicated by chat rooms & the telephone. I was in Texas & he was in Georgia. I flew to Georgia to meet him in person after 6 months of chatting on the computer. I met with his whole family. Then he came to Texas to meet my family. I moved to Georgia 3 months later & 6 moths later we were married. We have been married for 8 years now. And I have never been happier!

yes, or at least they can seem that way, I was in one, it was disastrous.
it's hard to really know a person until you've spent alot of time around them, people can say they are anyway they want to say, but until you're with them you don't really know, and a week here and a week there doesn't really cut it.
