yes, and because it is cheaper to make one product that will function the same as to making to different products which will up the cost.

I think it is because if there is any "drippage" it does not land on the seat so as the next person does not have to wipe it up? I know, I know it's gross but what other reason could the cut-out be for?

lol, nicely my logical clarification is bathroom seats have the decrease out interior the front likely because boys stand even as they pee, because the known public lavatories are frequently gross. even as they stand their pee falls on the "the front" so, they decrease it out =]. making the bathroom seats purifier. Residential seats dont have it decrease out because human beings sit down instead of stand because it truly is way purifier.

It is easier to just maintain one type of seat and don't forget some male children use the bathroom when brought in by their mothers.

It depends where you go, because I have seen it all ways. cut out with lid, cut out without lid, non-cut out with lid, non-cut out without lid.
