The first time I saw my husband, I kid you not the first thought that came to my head was that is the man I'm going to marry. I know that sounds very cliche but I swear its true. Don't get me wrong I didn't go out the next day and marry him, but we have been together for about three years now, and I have never been happier. So yes, l absolutely believe in love at first sight.

It most certainly is possible. I fell in love (at first sight) 36 years ago. I married the girl of my dreams only 9 months after we met - we only had 7 dates (a perfect number) - on the 7th, I proposed and she accepted. Now after 35 years of marriage, we still love each other, and I wouldn't have anyone else.

Love at first sight? More like lust at first sight. Then you decide to love someone in spite of their flaws or maybe because of them. I first saw my future husband when I was talking to a friend on the phone. My future walked up the sidewalk with my brother and I said to my fiend, "I am looking at my husband." Sure enough, we got married and 38 years later, I decide everyday to continue to love him. And it is HARD! I know him so well, including his farts. But he knows all of mine, too. So, find someone that turns you on, then decide to love them no matter what. Because there will be a lot of "whats."

absolutely not. What is love? It is where you know your partner, and you would sacrifice your own well-being for them. It means that you can look past their faults and accept your differences because nothing in the world is worth more than making your partner happy forever, and being with them. So, infatuation and curiosity is possible at first sight. Definitely.

Yes, I believe it is possible b/c it happened to me. The moment I looked at my boyfriend he was so handsome and strong looking that I had to meet him. After having spoke to him over dinner, we went out to a club and talked the night away. That night we were already talking about our future together. Its been close to 4 yrs now and I love him more than I could explain. We were right on the same level of needs at the same time in our lives. Since the first night I met him, we've been together ever since.

Love has to start somewhere but i think that 1st sight is just the attraction that will later turn into love.

LUST at first sight is possible...not love. Love can start immediately after lust ....as you get to know the person.

I don't really think that it's possible but maybe it can b...it's cuz, well, 'love at first sight' is really wat happens in Cinderella and more movies and stuff. Has it ever happen to u? not me. 'love at first sight' happens in fairytales, but u know that this world isn't that beautiful, perfect or kind!

I don't think it is, but there are many people who think there is such a thing. I think they are in love with the looks of a person at first sight.
If you think you can fall in love on that notion, that it really isn't love. Don't we fall in love with a person for something deeper, after we've got to know them for a while?
