Its always wrong to be racist no matter the circumstances or political leanings. Always wrong no matter where you live or how ignorant people are.

It's not wrong to believe anything as long as your beliefs don't cause actions that would harm someone.
I too am from a small town. The fact my town was not ethnically diverse made it an emotionally safe place to grow up.
The fact is there are cultural differences between the races and inherent value differences. Turning a blind eye to these differences assumes you know better.
I've got friends of varying degrees of color and culture. Sometimes people do things that baffle us.
Free speech and free thought is part of our make up. prejudice and racist cannot be legislated away. It is an individual spiritual experience in getting to know others. I still give pause when I see a group of young adults roaming the streets.. I think commonsense requires us to self-preservation. Proof is in people's actions not in their words. Prove to me you are a good person and race matters little.

It was considered wrong to be a racist b4 all the events that have been going on and its still considered wrong after the events....racism is not the way forward...there is only a particular group of people involved in this terrorism and its wrong to generalise all of those in that religion....they are not all for terrorism....so racism is wrong...there's no excuse for it!

It is always wrong to be racist. Everybody has the same color blood. I once saw a great way to show this . Look at the palm of your hand is it the same color as everyone Else's?

Its always wrong to be a racist but its not wrong to say racist comments as long as you do not mean it to all of the race. Some people doing stupid stuff doesnt mean that all of them do although majority of the time they do.
