i have had sex before marriage and im finding it really difficult to be a good muslim now its the month of ramadan and im finding it really difficult to fast as i am a regulary smoker. i am trying but its getting me no where

you are already forgiven! You are NOT gonig to go to hell or anything like that so don't worry about it. Religions just try to scare you out of doing certain things. there is nothing wrong with what you are doing!

In Islam you're not any further allowed to have sex in the previous marriage, because it truly is a sinfull act, in case you want and take care of a lady you marry her and preserve her, love isn't only for sex yet for appreciate too. If he had sex which includes her he can nonetheless marry her.

Although I am not a muslim, in the eyes of god if you are truley sorry for your sins and confess them wholeheartedly then yes you are forgiven. We as humans are not perfect.

God forgives those who forgives them selfs. for the fasting i would also give up smoking , if this is what is preventing you form fasting. I no its hard but all things are that mean the most to us, good luck.
