Well, Abraham lincoln Abolished slavery, (good)
Adolf Hitler killed over 6 million jews (bad)
On world history, I think these 2 had the biggest influence as we know it.

In Ireland i'd say Cromwell! The plantations to start off then its after effects, from the great famine, black'n'tan, never mind IRA and others! In Britain i would say Winston churchill because he played such a huge part in British history! In France probably Napoleon, Germany the Kayser first then of course Hitler! Spain: Franco, Italy Mussolini and the USA? Well i'd say George Washington! Some of these were good people who committed good deeeds if other actions of theirs turned out to be totally detrimental for the rest of us. So i guess what i'm trying to say is! There is no such thing a a good or evil person in our history! Just men (And women) Who accomplished much and sometimes or always in Hitler and Mussolini's case ... Were responsible for some evil deeds!

That's a tough question to answer. I have a toss up between Julius Caesar, and Alexander that Great. There are many other's too...Genghis Khan, Mao, Tim Berners-Lee (the person who created the world wide web)...Alexander Graham Bell...
