The park. Hold the baby and go down the slide. Put them in a baby swing at the swing set.
Home is great too. Just about anything you do with your baby can qualify as quality time. Reading to them, actively playing, or just cuddling...

Plan for any outing with baby and spending some time together. Motherszone gives some ways to spend quality time with kids such as:
1. Go for a short walk
2. Look for birds
3. Visit the mall
4. Play in the park
5. Meet your friends or relatives

If your baby likes animals, take him/her to the Zoo or the Aquarium. My girls LOVE those places. We go all the time, and I have taken my girls since they were just a couple months old. As they grow older, you can teach them about the different animals, but when they are little, they will just like looking at the animals and seeing them. Especially the monkeys (I don't know whay but they are both my girls favorites....probably because they are the most active during the day)
Seeing that it is fall though, you could also take your baby to a pumpkin farm if there is one nearby. They might like just being outside there and seeing all the colors and stuff.

at 8 months old the baby is usually happy being with loved ones. Try pointing things out to her and naming them. Show her colorful things and say the colors to her. this way your spending quality time and teaching at the same time. though she wont use these words now they will be familiar to the baby at an older age. But really if the baby is with you they will be happy. Play peek a boo and sing songs things that have to to with child and parent.

Anywhere that has a lot of sounds and colors. Take a walk at the park, or just just take a walk in general. A mueseum, the mall, the zoo, the library (do this when he's a bit groggy so he doesn't scream in a quiet place), Grandma and Grandpa's house, etc.

At the age you can go anywhere my son is 9 months old and I can take him anywhere from a store to the park and he just stares at everything around. I could entertain him all day by just driving around in the car!!! Cherish these moments because soon you'll have to entertain him alot more with more complicated things!!

Anywhere you are! The car ride to look at things, the zoo, the park, the store, Gramma's,
Aunties, the playground, play groups at the library. TALK to your child. Point out colours, clouds, trees etc. ENJOY!!

anywhere. Babies are interested in movement, noise, color and most of all, you.
your baby at this age will be just as excited to go to a board meeting and touch and taste and see everything, as he would be going to the zoo.
You'd have more fun at the zoo :)
