how do I make my own webpage/site and put it on the internet, not using any other what you see is what you get type page thats already available. Im sure it must be a simple answer

There are many different ways to make web pages. Do you want to write your own HTML? XHTML? or are you looking for a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) type page? Your isp should offer you some free web space. Yahoo geocities does this also, so if you have a Yahoo email address you already have web space.
