Because they are at least going through the motions of helping with the War on Terrorism. Their tribal border areas are not really in their control. The most important reason is they have nuclear weapons. Even if we wanted to go into Pakistan, it would be necessary to predict what they would do with the weaponry and weigh the differnt threats.

Contrary to popular belief, the Pakistani government is not working WITH us against AQ. Outwardly, they project the image of doing so, but in fact, their ISI (intelligence service) is neck-deep in AQ.
Musharraf, though not an active supporter of AQ, turns a blind eye because his own life is in danger if he dares to appear too tough on the terrorists in his own country. Unfortunately, President Bush, who isn't playing to win, doesn't want to make anyone look bad by crossing the Pak border and nabbing OBL, so it does look like a weak flip-flop.
I doubt the world would blame the President one bit if he sent our special forces teams over the border to hunt the man down IF they knew where to look.

They have a nuclear bomb.. Britain wouldn't allow it because Londonistan would be laid to waste in a matter of days.. Bush Flip-flops more than a beach slipper and he has never said anything coherent in his tenure. Pakistan is the home of the terrorist and we do nothing... sorry.. we attacked Iraq and created more terrorists.. Perverse isn't it.?

Bush has never given a s**t about Osama bin Laden or getting justice for the 3,000 who died in the 9/11 attacks. He and his cohorts merely saw the attacks as a golden opportunity to make up an excuse to go to Iraq and get to the oil.

Did you see the Pakistani President on the daily show last night promoting his little book.Funny guy.Said he considered whether they could take us.
Seriously though, they dont have oil, why would we attack them?
Any reasonably intelligent person knows pakistan supported the taliban before 9-11 and only publicly changed their opinion to avoid being bombed back to the stone age.

Why would you want to invade the whole of Pakistan just for Osama Bin Laden? Doesn't make sense to make a whole country suffer just for one person...

Pakistan has not refused to turn him over to us. While he may be hiding in Pakistan, it is out in the wilderness where neither our forces nor Pakistani forces can find him.
The taliban knew where he was, and refused to turn him over.
There's a big difference between him hiding in your country, and you helping him do it. And that difference is the difference between an invasion and not an invasion.

Pakistan is NOT officially harboring anyone. They are working to get the nut jobs out too. Besides, as I have been saying for weeks, OBL is DEAD. Has been for almost a year. All, so called, releases from him were prerecorded, or computer generated.
