NO ! it's worth 2.5 million to have them take responsibility for their actions....money is not everything and it should never buy your principles.

I would never want anyone to lie in a court if I'm the person who would be affected by that lie. Just imagine how painful it would be if your whole life would be in stake if someone lie. It could be anyone, any country, any family, any society, think about the pain someone would suffer, some family would suffer, some society would suffer and I would be the person responsible for that worst thing just for money. World is going to wrong direction just because of this printed papers. Just watch so many young girls and ladies being exploited. What for ? Just money. If it is for money and my lie would is for wrong purpose I would never lie. Atleast not for money

depends on who it is, and what the crime was. If I knew the person wasn't going to do it again, or it was a really close friend/family member etc. then yes- only cuz I really need the money. As a general rule, I wouldn't. If it was rape or murder or something- I think I'd be too scared, it would be obvious. If it was robbery or something where no one got hurt, yesh

No I would not lie in court and I would not give a false alibi to a criminal. The money would be dirty and cursed. I'd rather be poor, happy and with a clear conscience!

Is 2.5 million dollars worth getting tried for purgery and end up sharing a cell with the guy for the next few years? I don't think so.

NO! My integrity, self-respect, and not to mention, SOUL, is priceless. Besides, if you are caught lying in court, YOU go to jail right along with the person you're trying to cover for. That is a serious crime, you'd get probably five years for lying in court.

Consider this:
You lie in court to save his sorry butt for $2.5 mil.
Do you really expect to receive that money from a criminal that you just saved? You have no recourse and you will most likely end up face up and pushing up daisies you moron. Never trust a criminal. Get a backbone and some morals. You will have a better life and be able to have a clear conscience. You know what a conscience is don't you?

BTW: Who is going to save your butt when they bust you for perjury?

"Uh-oh 2BaD, true to your name you've asked a tempting question. It is never ok to lie. I'm an old guy now, but, even in my most ambitious post-adolescence I couldn't do it. Having to live with the fact that someone "bought me off" to support them in crime is headed for an ugly finish somewhere down the line.
Just say "no."

wow that is a great question! for me, no i could not! not for any amount of money, i could not swear on a bilble and lie, the money would not make feel better about it, as i would have to live with myself. however, if i was asked for moral reasons, example: keeping a child away from an abusive person, i might, because i no i would be protecting somone, and god would understand.

Those who say they will not lie I can assure you that forget the court they are lying outside the court itself.........no person will let go such an offer because he will put his conscience to sleep with so much money, or will he bribe his consciences
