I keep it on pulgged in all the time. Is that good for it?

Yeah it is ok. If it starts to get hot ot noisy turn it off.

Its ok but remember that it still not really good to leave it on but:
1st battery might mess up
2nd maybe it might over heat if one of the fans or the coolers that keep your compter cool might not work for the reason that it has been on for 24/7!

Wont hurt it if it is on a desk but dont leave it on carpet or a soft surface. It will get hot and could burn up.

Besides the risk of overheating, or battery fire, and early death of the battery (all mentioned above), you will be contributing to global warming by leaving it on unnecessarily

You'll be making it more likely to have to replace your laptop's rechargable battery, but overall, it is pretty much ok.

Well, it won't do it any harm if you turn it off and give it a break every couple of days
