Off course his blowing action is legal. By the way, it should be Brett Lee not Bret Lee. He is a good bowler(at leastst beter than Akhtar)

I have questioned Brett Lee's blowing action many times. Some would say he has the most fluent blowing action there has ever been.
I would say in fact he blows harder, but not as nicely as others that blow.
That being said i wish i could blow half as nicely as Brett Lee, although my blowing action is definitely legal, unlike Brett Lee's, which may or not be leagal at all!!

No one can bowl illegally at the highest level. There are many to check it. If Lee would have been bowling illegal he would have been reported long time ago. Awesome fast bowlers like Lee and Akhtar appear to be chucking sometimes but thats not real and just the deception of our eyes because they are too fast to move and deliver the ball.

100% legal, both Lee and Akhtar's action are legal.
The citizen of a country with a population of more than 100 million but failing to produce a single bowler exceeding 90 km/h is bound to ask such questions and is normal for him to critisize others.

I couldn't understand what you meant by What is Bret Lee "blowing" action?I never saw him blowing anyone on the field....if you know what I mean....have never seen poor guy even blowing balloons on the field...
whatever he does off the field, whoever he blows, is his own business....

I don't think it shud b considered illegal, but as far as he does not have an awkward throw-like the kind of modern cricketers r doin- he could b considered as legal by the books of Cricket, but may b it may look a little pause b4 his delivery tat wud make such questions.

I believe he is Legal - it is just my View!!!

yes it is not legal..its not clean.infacct in my view many bowlers in the past and quite a few in the current times r illgal...Shoaib akhtar, malik and shabbir from pakistan, even yasir ali who only playd on test was also illegal......then harbhajan from india...thier ex players...chohan n kanitkar had suspect actions...in sri lanka...v have murali and malinga..previously dharmasena was also in the club.....australia..v have Bret Lee and i know u wont agree but Mc grath as well...
England..have Michael yardey in the panel....bangladeshes have rafiq, azzaq and one other olwer i dun remembr th name....courtney walsh had a suspect action...but those who were reported r very few n mostly asians somehow

I agree with Vicky though. But i dont think there is any problem with his action. He is a great bowler.
He has never been called up for his action though.
